Simonsig is situated North West of Stellenbosch, the acknowledged prime wine growing area of South Africa. It produces some of the finest red and white wines as well as a sparkling wine made by the Cap Classique Methode - the local Champenoise.In 2002 Simonsig win the Amorim Wine Magazine Cap Classique Challenge. In July 2004 Simonsig also won the Wine Magazine Challenge to find the best Syrah in South Africa.

MURATIE

Situated at the foothills of the Simonsberg, Muratie Wine Estate tells the story of winemaking in South Africa, a history almost as old as the country herself. In 1988 Ronnie Melck became the 21st owner, and in doing so, fulfilled a lifelong dream. This very popular wine man, possessed of a legendary palate, warm personality and in instinctive flair for winemaking, initiated the redevelopment of Muratie, which has taken the farm to its current chapter. Having left the Muratite legacy trust to his family the story continues under the dedicated management of his children, Rijk, Anton and Charla

BLAAUWKLIPPEN

Our beautiful estate is situated in the premium Stellenbosch wine Region of South Africa and has a proud winemaking history spanning more than 3 centuries. At this historic Stellenbosch wine estate, oak (traditionally the choice of timber for manufacturing wine barrels) is used extensively in the restaurant, wine tasting and private lounges. Sensitive architecture and sleek interior design combined with waxed oak surfaces, delight both conservative and chic wine tourists enjoying the views of the "Blaauwklippen" (blue mountains).
